  1. I have written many research papers before and most of them were in APA format. The papers I have written before were really diverse and for different classes. I have little experience with ACC library services, but with this paper I hope to use more of their resources.

  2. I have written several research paper before. I mainly get my references from the library services databases. I heavily rely on them because they are very reliable sources. I write a research paper each year for my English classes but have written many for Government and History classes these past two years. Personally it frustrates me how lengthy they tend to be but they are bearable. However, the amount of knowledge I have gained from the different topics is kind of satisfying.

  3. I have written many research papers before. I mainly use the ACC library services when writing papers in MLA format for English classes. I use the databases, specifically EBSCOhost to find information. I think the articles and texts from the databases are trustworthy and super easy to cite in my papers. However, I have never been able to find the exact info that I am looking for, which will frustrate me if I am strictly limited to the library services to find outside sources.

  4. I’ve written quite a few research papers before. The kinds of papers were either talking about history topics or events that have taken place. I have little experience with using the ACC library services, but I have used it before. My thoughts and experiences with research are I have done a lot of it, but I need a lot of time to make sure it is understandable.

  5. I’ve written a few research papers for different classes both in MLA and APA format. The topics were pretty diverse such as writing about different movies and books to just a regular history paper. I have some experience with ACC library services but have not used it frequently. However, I hope with this paper I can take advantage of these resources.

  6. The last time I used the ACC online resources was for their databases. It was for an english research project, but besides that, I don’t use their online services that much. As for the english research project, I wrote a paper over extremophiles and needed the databases for accurate information. I can’t remember all of the research papers i’ve written before, but I don’t mind writing them. As long as I have a place to get all of they information from, I consider them easy to get done.

  7. I have written many research papers and like others have said, they were in APA format. The last time that I can remember using ACC online resources was for an english paper written years ago. I used to consider writing papers one of my weaker skills but over time I think that I have improved a lot considering how much I used to dislike writing essays.

  8. I have written research paper in both MLA and APA formatting, but I’ve mainly used APA format. The papers focused more on political and historical events regarding diverse topics. I am familiar with ACC’s library services, and have used them a few times before, but It’s not my preferred use unless there is something I cannot find elsewhere. Perhaps for our second paper I will use for of the services.

  9. I have some experience with the ACC library but not an incredibly amount. Went there more than a couple of times to print something out or to research on the computers that are available to us. Did use the online library resources for a research paper once back in my English I course but not much since then. In terms of research papers however, I have done quite a few both in ACC and back in High school, so they are a familiar format, once dealing with government and another to do with Aliens, as was our final paper in English I.

  10. My experience with library services is that sometimes I felt like I couldn’t find what I was looking for because I was just using the ACC library services. The last time I used it was for a research paper for English Composition 1302 where I was researching UFOs. Surprisingly, I found a few things about UFOs. Maybe, my topic though, is why I didn’t get many results in my search. Another research paper I did was on Sigmund Freud for psychology and I didn’t use the ACC library services for that. I wonder how the paper would have evolved differently if I had used those services for that paper?

  11. over the years I have written numerous research papers in both APA and MLA format. I have only used the ACC library services once or twice so I am not very comfortable with it but it can be very useful because of how reliable the sources are. for this paper, I will get more comfortable with using our library services.

  12. I have some experience with the ACC library services but I haven’t really used this tool this year. I have written research papers for my English Composition, U.S. History and Texas State and Local Government classes. I’ve written the papers in either MLA or APA format and most of them in different word lengths. For the most part, writing research papers is kinda fun the the only annoying thing is finding the sources.

  13. ACC’s online library services are something I’ve become fairly familiar with- my abhorrent habit of spending far too much time opening far too many tangentially related articles made sure of that. As for research papers themselves, I’ve always had some sort of trouble with them, whether it be a lack of applicable material on the subject of choice, over ambitious goals on my part, or just plain unluckiness, there always seems to be some problem that presents itself, barring my completion of the paper. I’ve attempted to write papers with a striking variety in topics ranging from the likelihood that aliens exist, the implications of such, why we haven’t seen any signs of them if they exist, the possible physiology of said aliens, and what plans we have set for dealing with them, to the effectiveness of a law pertaining to organ sale. I say attempted because I won’t be so presumptuous as to say that I was successful; I completed them, yes, but satisfaction on my end was not always met.
That said, I do find and download some nice reading material from time to time (like a “Re-Formulation” of the second law of thermodynamics).

  14. I have written multiple research papers but in both MLA and APA format. I have used the ACC library data base one time and it was brief. I honestly have only ever used the acc library to print out my papers, but i will look more into their website and see what resources they have that are of use to me.
