The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde

This was a very different reading then I am used to, but I did enjoy it quite a lot. I love mysteries and scary stories. In a way this reading everyone can relate to. Everyone has an good and evil side to them. Dr. Jekyll is the good side of his alter ego and Mr.Hyde is his evil side. In the beginning Dr.Jekyll is in more control, but in wanting to separate himself from evil he ended up with a monster. Dr.Hyde then took over and had more control.

Dr.Jekyll represented all things good like love, trust ,kindness, while Dr.Hyde represent all the bad things like hate, cruelness, demons. everyone has both of these sides we try to hide our Dr.Hyde side but it can come out when we lose control, and as human we hate to lose control. when we lose control we scare our self because we are scared of the evil things we are capable of. No body wants to be evil but sometimes when control is lost it can be hard to regain. it is hard to fight your self that why they say “you are your greatest enemy.”
